The planet has a problem indexing and sifting through what information is available to it today.  If nothing else, 911 drove that point home.  There is every reason, should there be the slightest indication that all this is possible, to start a meaningful effort to organize for the avalanche.  This preliminary reaction is offered as relevant. (I,II,III,IV Key)

• I – The blue vinyl zippered notebook I used following the UCAR event:
• II – A multiple early warning system is embedded in Triad theory which claims the value of (i) physical measurements conformed to an anthropological fact base, (ii) interacting physiologies having approached homeostasis more closely than humanity, (iii) the ability to retroactively identify seed events which have initiated long term trends, and (iv) the ability to measure changes in cognitive capacity. The last step in development is to fit data to the environment.
• III – A transparent Bon Ami screen acknowledged reasoning.
• IV – An object resembling a mollusk with a black interior opened and closed the shell, Very thin threads: An indistinct obscured Brazilian flag: A blue pincushion with red pinholes: A blue doughnut, An open rear sight, An adjustable wrench: and a kangaroo (11-06)

This impression, to be included in Phase IV, should give some idea of support for this position.

• A bubble cockpit on a WW II single engine pursuit aircraft in a climb – One of the largest groups of angels ever seen was paying their last respects to one who died.  Details were not clear, but the old man they work for was involved.  The von Economo neuron – The sound of a referee’s whistle blowing three times – The hand held brace used to build 3746 Atwood – A bubble cockpit on a WW II single engine pursuit aircraft in a climb – One of the largest groups of angels ever seen was paying their last respects to one who died.  Details were not clear, but the old man they work for was involved.  The von Economo neuron – The sound of a referee’s whistle blowing three times – The hand held brace used to build 3746 Atwood (10-20-09)

If the planet expects to develop a reliable information and control network of this scale, the first priority must be formulating countermeasures for developing trends in cyberwarfare.  Alternately, if access to technology others have developed can be made available, it would be an invaluable aid to planet stabilization.  Failing that, there will probably be a long wait.  From Phase V:

• A crystal palace – The end of a rainbow – Two people were preparing for a flight to a destination light years away.  When asked how many, the answer came back “We don’t know, we don’t measure that way.  We pick a point, set the coordinates, and, if we miss by a million light years or so, we are OK.”  Setting the coordinates took a while, maybe an hour.  The pilot warned the passenger that he would be flying inverted, and at the destination he would need a little time to restore to normal. Following with  refinements enabled by IPv7/Web 4.0 and presumption of a working relationship with keepers of both the developing and developed universe domains, we have these impressions in Phase VI.

• Several Dot candies – The bottom half of a connecting rod crankshaft bearing – A chap wearing my Swiss ski jacket (blue with a white stripe across the chest) – A commercial airliner got caught in the functional equivalent of a jet stream and was carried above incredibly rugged seared landscape.  Virtually only rock and traces of buildings remained.  The image had a 3D effect realistic enough to induce vertigo.  Ω  (2-28-10)

• A brown chocolate Easter bunny – A new force in Formula 1  (4-5-10)

Progressing with intuitive development and probing  boundaries seems to have generated output from IPv8.  More specifically, it may have responded to the speculation that Venter and Smith have replicated a naturally occurring process.  A sense that this is an element of a large scale intelligence is embedded in  this Phase VII impression:

• A dog scratching behind its ear with a rear paw – A skull and crossed bones on a black background – A story about a class of people who could transform from one into two; each having completely separate activities during the transformation.  They would then merge back into one for dinner.  Which was the natural state was not made clear.  (5.23.10)
